The Toughest Monster Truck Tour In Saginaw, MI!

*I received ticket admission to the Toughest Monster Truck Tour in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own, as always!*
I remember when I was a little girl, my parents would take my sister and I to the monster truck shows in town. After the show was over, they would allow the kids to come down into the mud pit where the trucks had just shown off their horse power and crazy high jumps. I loved to roll around with the other kids and get dirty! Monster truck shows don't operate quite the same these days, but my car and my sanity are both extremely thankful to not have to take my kids home covered in dirt! I kind of feel bad for my parents now that I am a mother myself!
Because monster truck shows are near and dear to my heart, so I got really excited to learn the Toughest Monster Truck Tour was going to be here in Michigan at the DOW Event Center in Saginaw. It was only 1 hour and 35 minutes away from us, and we decided to cut ourselves a break from driving and book a hotel.

We purchased some headphones for the little guy, and ear plugs for the rest of the family. I forgot just how loud monster trucks really are! The revving and rolling had us excited and enthused the entire time.

Quad Chaos was our favorite monster truck of the day. It seemed to go the highest, and kept momentum without pausing between jumps! All of the trucks battled it out in an intense race against one another.

Our favorite part of the event was MEGASAURUS! The mechanical fire-breathing dinosaur that picks up and eats cars! He emerged from the truck breathing fire, picked the red car up with his 'claws' and shredded it apart with his gnashing jaws!

Max has SPD - even with ear plugs, he had a difficult time focusing and enjoying the show because of the noise. By giving him popcorn, he was able to focus his attention on eating rather than the overstimulation caused by the noisy monster trucks. Snacking was the perfect distraction, and he was finally able to enjoy the show![/caption]
Max's face during the show was priceless! He is obsessed with dinosaurs, and couldn't believe his eyes as Megasaurus tore the car apart in front of him!
Our Pit Passes let us into the arena where we could get up close and personal with these real life monsters! The tires were huge!

After we were done watching the Toughest Monster Truck Tour, we ate a nice family dinner and went to visit our hotel for the night. Max actually got into the pool, which is AMAZING!
